“Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team – the Fifteenth Round of 2025 at Pa Mok Hospital, Ang Thong Province

 

     On 12th September 2025, the Privy Purse Bureau, in partnership with Banphaeo General Hospital (Public Organisation) and several supporting organisations, held an eye surgery unit under the “Happy and Healthy Citizen Project by the Royal Medical Team”. Marking the fifteenth round of the 2025 programme, the unit delivered surgical treatment to 221 patients at Pa Mok Hospital in Ang Thong Province. 

     Air Chief Marshal Satitpong Sukvimol, the Lord Chamberlain of the Bureau of the Royal Household and Director-General of the Privy Purse Bureau, together with Police Colonel Thumnithi Wanichthanom, Senior Deputy Director-General and Vice Chairman of the Project, joined executives from the Privy Purse Bureau, government agencies, and private organisations to visit the site, observe the medical operations, and extend encouragement to the doctors, nurses, and patients. The Governor of Ang Thong also presided over the opening ceremony on this occasion.

     Since its establishment in 2022, the “Happy and Healthy Citizen Project by the Royal Medical Team” has organised 51 mobile medical units across 29 provinces throughout the country, offering treatment and care to a total of 25,157 patients.
