On 22nd August 2025, the Privy Purse Bureau, in collaboration with Banphaeo General Hospital (Public Organisation) and partner organisations, organised an eye surgery unit under the “Happy and Healthy Citizen Project by the Royal Medical Team”. This fourteenth round of the 2025 initiative provided surgical treatment to 290 patients at Phibun Mangsahan Hospital, Ubon Ratchathani Province.
On this occasion, the Deputy Governor of Ubon Ratchathani, acting on behalf of the Governor, presided over the opening ceremony, joined by executives from the Privy Purse Bureau as well as representatives from government and private agencies, to offer encouragement and support to the doctors, nurses, and patients.
Since its launch in 2022, the “Happy and Healthy Citizen Project by the Royal Medical Team” has conducted 50 mobile medical units across 29 provinces nationwide, providing healthcare services to a total of 24,867 patients.
