From 30th – 31st July 2025, the Privy Purse Bureau, in collaboration with, the Faculty of Medicine of Ramathibodi Hospital, the Dermatological Society of Thailand, the Crown Prince Fund student volunteers, Siam Commercial Bank PCL, the SCB Foundation, Siam Cement PCL, the SCG Foundation, Deves Insurance PCL, Thai Beverage PCL, Airports of Thailand PCL, the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, PTT PCL, BJC Big C Group, and GMM Grammy PCL to organise as part of “Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team – the twelfth round of 2025 at Amnatcharoen Hospital and Amnat Charoen Provincial Prison, Amnat Charoen Province.
A total of 1,052 patients recieved madical treatment during this event, as follows :
- Eye surgery treatment: 276 individuals
- Dermatological treatment: 228 individuals
- Dental services: 446 individuals
- Oral hygiene guidance: 102 individuals
The opening ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Ampon Kittiampon, the Privy Counsellor and the Vice Chairman of the Project. Alongside executives from the Bureau, representatives from government agencies, and partner organisations. They collectively offered their support and encouragement to the medical staff, volunteers, and patients.
During this outreach, patients received treatment for eye conditions, including cataract surgery, lens replacements with artificial intraocular lenses, and new eyeglasses. The hospital also provided dermatological care, along with dental services such as oral health check-ups, tooth extractions, fillings, wisdom tooth removal, and dental health education.
Since its inception in 2022, the "Happy and Healthy Citizen Project by the Royal Medical Team" has carried out 48 mobile units across all regions, covering 28 provinces. It has provided treatment to a total of 23,667 patients.
In 2025, the “Happy and Healthy Citizen Project by the Royal Medical Team" is dedicated to bringing together volunteer medical professionals and partner agencies to ensure ongoing healthcare support for the population.
Amnat Charoen Hospital is the first general hospital in the province, offering a wide range of healthcare services in a comprehensive and continuous manner (One Province One Hospital).
